NH Fish and Game to offer ice fishing lectures

CONCORD (AP) — The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is offering two free ice fishing lectures to help anglers enjoy their sport year round.

The Wednesday evening lectures are free and take place at the department's headquarters on Hazen Drive in Concord.

On Jan. 20, veteran ice fisherman Tim Moore will talk about techniques for catching panfish like crappie, bluegill and white perch.

On Jan. 27, Moore talks about fishing for lake trout on Lake Winnipesaukee, including fish behavior and how to find them.

Both talks begin at 7 p.m. Registration is not required.
