RANDOLPH (AP) — New Hampshire Fish and Game officers are investigating the death of a hiker on the Castle Ravine Trail between two mountains in Randolph.

Officials said hikers found the man's frozen body near the tree line Sunday morning.

Conservation officer volunteers responded to the scene to assist in the recovery.

Investigators arrived at around 6 p.m. and didn't immediately find anything to indicate the man's death was suspicious.

The man's body was brought down the mountain at around 2:30 a.m. Monday. A medical examination will determine the cause of death.

His identity hasn't been released.
