NH Fish and Game looking for fellow snowmobiler after man dies in fatal snowmobile crash

STARK - New Hampshire Fish and Game are seeking the public's help in an investigation regarding a fatal snowmobile crash that resulted in the death of a Groveton resident.

On March 5, Paul Fortin, 51 of Groveton crashed a snowmobile while operating south on Corridor 5 in Stark. Police were alerted of the accident when a 911 call came in from a home on Nash Stream Road.

The caller told police that a snowmobiler had knocked on their door and said that there was a crash just up the road and that a call should be made for help.

The snowmobiler then left without identifying him or herself.

Conservation officers are asking the public’s help in identifying the snowmobiler who showed up at the home, where police urge anyone with information to contact them at 846-3333.
