NH Fish & Game and AMC rescue Mass. woman who hurt leg on Mt. Crawford


HARTS LOCATION — Rescuers helped a Massachusetts woman with an injured leg on the Davis Path, Mt. Crawford on Saturday.

Beth Connolly, 47, of Amesbury was hiking Mt. Crawford with several of her friends when she slipped and fell, injuring her right ankle at around 1 p.m.

Connolly was left unable to walk, and was about one mile from the parking area for the Davis path at the time.

AVSAR, AMC, and Fish & Game responded to the incident.

Connolly was carried to an ambulance waiting at the trail head parking lot, then taken to the Memorial Hospital in North Conway for evaluation and treatment.
