NH festivities to hit this Labor Day weekend

CONCORD – It may be the last official weekend of summer but with a gorgeous weather outlook throughout the state, there are plenty of things to do.

Going to Hampton beach? Well, after you head off the beach keep an eye out for fireworks scheduled for Sunday night.

If you are looking for more festivities during the day, check out the Hopkinton Fair starting Friday at 8 a.m. and lasting all weekend long. This is the 100th Hopkinton Fair and there are plenty of fun and games for the whole family.

In the mood for a cruise? Cruising Downtown is New England’s 3rd largest classic car show and it returns to Manchester every Labor Day Weekend. Aside from the great car show, Cruising Downtown also has music for a fun-filled day.

Near the Seacoast? The Exeter UFO festival is not to be missed! This Labor Day marks the 50th anniversary of the “incident at Exeter” when an 18-year-old reported to the Exeter police his sighting of an unidentified flying object.

Interested in arts and crafts? Starting Saturday at 10 a.m. come to the Craft Fair at the Alton Bay Community House and waterfront for a fair that features photography, metal, jewelry, blown glass and handmade soaps.

Have a great Labor Day weekend!
