NH fan gets to play Keith Urban's guitar on stage at concert - and absolutely crushes it

NH1 Digital Content Manager -

GILFORD - A young musician got the chance of a lifetime over the weekend at Keith Urban's concert - and it's all thanks to a pair of signs.

Urban sold out both shows at N.H. Bank Pavillion, but Saturday's might be more memorable. In the crowd, he saw a duo of signs in front. One held by a young woman read "It's my boyfriend's birthday!" with an arrow pointing to a sign next to her.

That one - held by Rob Joyce - said "Can I play your guitar?"

Well, Urban made good and pulled up Joyce on stage, handing him his vintage Fender guitar.

“Your sign says, ‘It’s my boyfriend’s birthday.’" Urban says in the video as the crowd cheers. "You’re pointing to him. You wanna play my guitar. Do you play guitar? Well, come on up here!”

Well, Joyce wasted no time, picking it up and nailing Urban's "Good Time."

Take a look.

The best part about the video is that Urban's band clearly was ready for him to do an acoustic performance. They rush back on stage and help the young man crush it.

Urban - for one - was crazy impressed. He thanked him in a personal Facebook video.

Check that one out too.

A pretty crazy moment for country music in the Granite State.
