NH family fighting childhood cancer with cups of lemonade
KEENE — A Keene family will be hosting a lemonade stand Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer and the research being done to cure it.
The Mackay family will open their 4 Kids Lemonade Stand at Kickboxing Keene on Marlboro Street on June 10.
All the funds received for the lemonade will be donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation's national fundraising campaign.
The Mackays will be running the stand for a third straight year, and they hope to acquire $1,000 for ALSF.
ALSF is in the middle of their Alex's Lemonade Days national event, which features more than 2,000 lemonade stands and 10,000 volunteers around the country fundraising to fight children's cancer.
Head out to 233 Marlboro St. in Keene on Saturday to quench your thirst and support research to cure cancer in the nation's youth.
