NH encouraged to shower 'better' this month

CONCORD — October is Shower Better Month in NH, encouraging Granite Staters to save water, energy and money by shortening their showers by just one minute.

By showering for one minute less, families can save more than 500 gallons of water per year, according to NH Department of Environmental Services.

With NH experiencing abnormally dry to extreme drought conditions, residents are looking for ways to conserve water.

Upgrading to a more efficient shower head along with shortening your showers could help save water significantly.
