NH emergency crews recover body in Connecticut River


CHESTERFIELD – A body was recovered from the Connecticut River Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 9 a.m. Tuesday morning a report of a possible body seen floating in the river was received and emergency crews responded to Red Road in West Chesterfield.

In the afternoon, Chesterfield Police confirmed a body was in the river.

According to the Keene Sentinel, the NH. District Fire Mutual Aid sent dive teams to search the river.

There is an ongoing investigation.
