NH elementary school principal placed on paid administrative leave
STRATHAM — The elementary school principal at Stratham Memorial School has been placed on paid administrative leave as of Wednesday.
In a letter that the superintendent sent out to parents, it stated that Tom Fosher would remain on leave pending a full investigation.
Michael Morgan, the superintendent of Stratham schools, wrote that he had received information about Fosher that dealt with "adult issues."
The reason for Fosher's leave was not addressed in the letter, but it did say that it was related to a "confidential personal matter."
The parents of students at Stratham Memorial School were assured by Morgan that the issues in question do not deal with the safety of children.
A thorough investigation will be taking place next week in hopes that more information will be released on June 9.
