NH drivers cautioned after horse escapes in Weare


WEARE — The public is urged to drive with caution after a horse escapes from Weaver Place on Sunday.

READ: 2 horses running wild after getting spooked in Nottingham

The horse was spooked and went through a fence. It was last seen running in the woods on Als Drive off of South Sugar Hill Road, according to the Granite State Dog Recovery Facebook page.

Contact Weare animal control at (603) 493-7834 if the horse is found. This is the third horse on loose reported in the Granite State in 24 hours.

Two horses got spooked in Nottingham. Their owners are looking for them, too.
