NH Department of Corrections employee accused of attempting to smuggle $67,000 worth of drugs to inmates


NORTH WOODSTOCK – A NH Department of Corrections employee has been arrested for bringing drugs into the Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility.

Charles Hanson, 49 of North Woodstock, has been arrested for attempting to smuggle an estimated $67,000 worth of drugs to inmates.

Hanson was charged with one felony count of delivery of articles to prisoners.

Hanson was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
