NH daycare owner allegedly found drunk pleads guilty to operating without license

The owner of Adventures in Learning Child Care Center in Londonderry pleaded guilty to running her daycare without a license.

After police allegedly found her drunk at the daycare with a 3-year-old boy on March 9, Lois Ann Mirbach, 60, of Londonderry turned herself in to law enforcement.

According to the Eagle-Tribune, Londonderry prosecutor Kevin Coyle said, “She had no prior criminal history so we thought the fine was appropriate. My job is to do what’s in the best interest of justice. In this particular case, given that she didn’t have any history, we feel this was the best thing to do."

Mirbach will need to seek a license through the state to continue operating her program.
