NH Burger King manager facing assault charge after throwing sauce at customer

CONWAY - A Burger King manager who police said threw sauce at a customer is now facing an assault charge.

Police arrested Douglas Waterman, 32 of Conway, earlier this month on Aug. 7. Police said the customer complained to Waterman - the manager at the Burger King on the corner of Route 16 and 302 in North Conway - that there was no bun on her burger.

Waterman told police he was verbally assaulted. Police said he yelled at her and then threw sauce at her back.

Police said he was arrested after he admitted to throwing the sauce.
