NH AG: Missing Manchester woman found dead, body concealed in hidden crawl space in apartment
MANCHESTER - A woman who has been missing since last month has been found dead, hidden in a false wall in her apartment.
The N.H. Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and the Manchester police said Sue Hutchinson was found dead on Sunday.
Officials responded to complaints of a foul odor coming from 169A Calef Road.
Detectives eventually found what they believe to be Hutchinson's body in a crawl space hidden behind a false wall inside a closet in her apartment. They removed the wall panel in that closet and discovered an adult female’s body concealed in the crawl space.
A definitive identification of the body will not be made until after an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday.
Hutchinson’s roommate, Stephen Andrade, 36, also went missing in September.
According to the AG's office, he killed himself in a motel in Massachusetts last week.
Officials said that based on statements Andrade made shortly before he killed himself, they think he killed Hutchinson, concealed her body, fled, and then eventually killed himself.
