HAVERHILL — The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed that the two people found dead in a New Hampshire home died from a murder-suicide.
Around 9 a.m. Tuesday, the bodies of Crystal Lewis, 44, and Robert Taylor, 45, were discovered inside Lewis' home located at 154 Park Road in Haverhill.
An autopsy conducted by Dr. Thomas Andrew showed that Lewis died from a single gunshot wound to the head, which he ruled a homicide. Taylor also died from a single gunshot wound to the head, which Andrew ruled a suicide.
Based upon the autopsy findings and other information learned during the investigation, Taylor appears to have shot and killed Lewis before killing himself inside of the residence, the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office reported.
The investigation revealed that Lewis and Taylor dated for several years, but Lewis terminated the relationship sometime in July.
