Several sources told NH1 News that Danyelle Dudley, SJ’s mother, was allegedly unfit to care for the child and that SJ's grandparents were fighting for full custody of him.

SJ’s grandparents arranged the photoshoot with Bristow just two days before he was somehow critically injured.

He was set to turn 1 next week.

On Friday, he was taken to a hospital, and on Saturday police questioned the photographer. Bristow says they asked questions like:

- Was the child tired/sluggish?

- Did the child have any bruising on his body?

- Was the child responsive/emotional or did he seem in a daze?

These questions are typical when there is head trauma or some sort of drug ingestion.

The N.H. Attorney General told NH1 News they are not releasing the autopsy results and - per protocol - they have ordered a toxicology test for the child.

Officials continue to call the death suspicious and will not comment on whether or not there are persons of interest.

SJ’s grandmother spoke to NH1 News through other family members, but she was unable to speak on camera.

Family has said they are not ready to speak at this time, but don’t want SJ’s story to go untold.

SJ’s grandmother wrote in one message, "...we all know what happened - an innocent baby's life was taken way too early! Jesus, let us grieve!"

Meanwhile, the family needs help while they prepare to bury SJ.

A Go Fund Me account has been set up for those who would like to donate.
