NH AG: Cause still unknown in 4-month-old boy's death at Greenland homeless shelter

Shari Small

The Attorney General's Office says the cause of death for a 4-month-old baby boy, who died at the New Generation homeless shelter in Greenland last July, remains unknown.

The state medical examiner says the cause and manner of the baby's untimely death could not be determined.

The baby boy and his mother were staying at the shelter.

It's one of several infant deaths in the last year where many questions remain.

Last October, the death of 3-week old was deemed untimely after toxicology tests were inconclusive.

The baby's mother was 30-year-old Stephanie Camelo. Investigators are still asking neighbors on Kimball Street in Manchester to come forward with any information.

And then there's S.J.

The 11-month-old Shawn Sylvester Jr. from Alexandria died from blunt force trauma to the head.

His death was ruled a homicide, but so far, no one has been arrested.
