NH activist Jerry DeLemus removed from state, awaiting trial in Nevada

CONCORD - A New Hampshire activist facing charges in connection with the 2014 Bundy Ranch standoff has officially been extradited from the Granite State.

Jerry DeLemus of Rochester, has been charged in Nevada with being a "mid-level leader" and organizer of a conspiracy to recruit, organize, train and provide support to armed men and other followers of rancher Cliven Bundy.

DeLemus's wife tweeted Friday, saying her husband was taken to New York where he'll stay until he's moved to the Nevada Southern Detention Center.
