NH 11-year-old to report on presidential race, inauguration as part of Scholastic Kids News Corps

NORTH WOODSTOCK - The Scholastic News Kids Press Corps has welcomed a large batch of new reporters, ages 10 to 14, and among them is a N.H. 11-year-old.

Kaitlin Clark, of North Woodstock, has been chosen as one of just 27 new reporters to join the country's oldest and largest student reporting program.

This year, young reporters were chosen by the Press Corps specifically to cover the long-standing tradition of presidential elections, campaign trail reporting and the next president's inauguration.

Kaitlin beat out more than 200 other applicants for the job and will also report on national and hometown news to be distributed to classrooms worldwide.

Here in New Hampshire, Kaitlin is a member of her school's high school ski and softball teams and dreams of being a lawyer or - get this - president of the U.S. when she grows up.
