Newport man suffering from Alzheimer's found after going missing

NEWPORT — A Newport man suffering from Alzheimer's went missing Thursday.

Lee Topham, 64, was last seen on Main Street at about 3 p.m. after he went on a walk, New Hampshire Fish and Game said. A call came in saying that Topham had gone missing at about 4:15 p.m., as it began to get dark outside.

Topham was located by the Newport Police Department along with Fish and Game at about 5:30 p.m. near the Pinnacle Overlook off Summer Street.

He was assessed by Newport Fire and EMS and was released without incident.
