New Year's Eve celebrations across the Granite State


New Year's Eve in New Hampshire means celebrations for all ages across the state including children's events, fireworks and even alcohol-free celebrations. Although the New Year is only hours away, tickets are still available at many events throughout the state.

CONCORD - From 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Concord 250 and the Concord Family YMCA are hosting a New Year's Eve gala event at the Grappone Center in Concord. Tickets are still available for $75 per person, $550 for a table of 8, or $675 for a table of 10. DOVER - The NH Children's Museum will be hosting a celebration for kids on NYE from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities include creating festive party hats, sharing New Year wishes, and "counting down to midnight" at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. For more information, visit the Museum's website here.

WOLFEBORO - The Wolfeboro Area Chamber of Commerce is putting on a lineup of alcohol-free events throughout the town on New Year's Eve. For a complete list of events visit this webpage here.

MANCHESTER - The Radisson hotel still has New Year's Eve packages available. At 9 p.m. hypnotist Tommy Vee and comic Matt Berry will perform live entertainment for $30 per ticket. NORTH CONWAY - North Conway Village also celebrates 250 years and will be hosting a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. in Schouler Park. There are also several resorts and restaurants hosting New Year's Eve themed dinners and galas. For more information, head to the Mount Washington Valley's website.

PORTSMOUTH - Festivities begin in downtown Portsmouth around noon on New Year's Eve. Activities include an ice sculpture contest at 2 p.m., a street dance from 5 p.m. until midnight, and a fireworks display at 7:30 p.m. at the South Mill Pond. For more information click this link.

NASHUA - The Crowne Plaza in Nashua will be hosting its own New Year's Eve celebration beginning at 3 p.m. on Dec. 31. Activities include a three-course meal, dancing to the tune of the band "Rare Form", and a midnight celebration. Find more information here.
