NEW THIS MORNING: Clinton campaign goes up with two new TV ads in NH
CONCORD – Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign launches two new television commercials Thursday in New Hampshire and seven other presidential battleground states that highlight the presumptive Democratic nominee’s “lifelong fight for children and families.”
“For Hillary, it’s always been about kids,” says the narrator in one of the ads.
NH1 News was first to report on Wednesday the ad buy in New Hampshire. The spots are expected to be in rotation through July 25, which marks the start of the Democratic National Convention.
The ad buy includes WBIN-TV, the television home of NH1 News.
The ads highlight Clinton’s long career helping children, including her work at the Children’s Defense Fund and her efforts at First Lady in helping pass the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
Responding to the new spots, the Republican National Committee put out a release with the headline "Twin Ads Shiowcase Clinton's Penchant for Exaggeration And Stretching The Truth."
New Hampshire is considered one of around 10 to 12 battleground states across the country.
