A new smartphone app called "NARCAN Now" intends to provide aid and advice on how to know an opioid overdose when you see one.
Instructions include a three-step guide on how to administer NARCAN nasal spray, a drug designed to help overdose cases. It also has information for local emergency services.
The app is available through Apple iTunes and Google Play.
