New Sewalls Falls Bridge will be open to traffic in November

CONCORD — The Sewalls Falls Bridge will be usable in November and completely finished in June.

Mike Cole, vice president of E.D. Swett, the contracting company tasked with building the bridge, said Thursday that the concrete deck was poured.

Once the concrete cures they will be able to pave the bridge and have it open by November.

The construction company has been working six days a week since they began September of last year.

Once the deck is completed there is still cosmetic work and work on the walkways that will need to be done but the bridge will be open to traffic in the meantime.
