CLAREMONT (AP) — A building that dates back to 1868 and serves as a Claremont high school has gotten a much-needed face-lift.

Gov. Maggie Hassan is participating in the dedication and unveiling of the improved Stevens High School on Tuesday afternoon.

Voters approved a $12.6 million proposal to renovate the school in 2013.

The renovations included updated plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems, new science labs and a bigger cafeteria.
