WHITEFIELD — A 40-year-old North Country gun store that's been a campaign stop for presidential candidates through the years has a new owner.
Josh D'Agnese has purchased the Village Gun Store in Whitefield. The store was sold by longtime owners Stan and Sandy Holz, who have retired.
D'Agnese recently retired from the U.S. Army following over 12 years of service, including two tours of duty in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.
He received assistance from the Northern Community Investment Corp. and other economic groups.
