New Manchester drug addiction and recovery center could open in June

MANCHESTER - Manchester could see its first addiction recovery center begin to offer services this year.

The former Hoitt Furniture building on Wilson Street will be transformed into an addiction and recovery center.

The HOPE for NH Recovery center will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week where recovery coaches will help people plan to get off their addiction.

Space will be available for tenants to stay, as well as space on several other floors for outpatient programs.

Last month, aldermen approved a $300,000 grant to be used to help fund the project.

If all goes according to plan, developers say the first phase of the services could begin in early June.
