MANCHESTER — A new apartment complex is hoping to be a major economic development in the heart of Manchester.
Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas and New England President of Citizen's Bank, Joseph Carelli, joined Bill Binnie in officially opening the building in downtown Manchester at 875 Elm Street. Binnie also owns WBIN-TV and NH1 News.
"Young executives are moving in, and they're not looking to buy houses," Gatsas said.
It was announced on Wednesday that the space will also include retail space and food - including a burger restaurant and more expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Citizens Bank will remain on the first floor.
A one bedroom unit in the building starts at $1,400 and two bedrooms starting at $1,500.
