New Hampton man pleads guilty to possessing child pornography
CONCORD - A North Hampton man has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography after investigators found pornographic videos on his computer, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Donald Feith.
Jeffrey LeBlanc, 28, pleaded guilty on Friday and is scheduled to be sentenced in October and could be imprisoned for a maximum of 20 years, followed by no less than five years of supervised release, a fine of up to $250,000 and a lifetime requirement to register as a sex offender.
Officials say they obtained a warrant and seized a computer in August of last year that contained approximately 30 videos of child pornography from LeBlanc's home.
The case was investigated by the North Hampton Police Department, in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security, the New Hampshire Internet
Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Salem Police Department.
