New Hampton defeats Proctor, improves to 2-0

Running back Isaiah White ran for 226 yards and scored four touchdowns to help New Hampton defeat Proctor 54-34 Friday night.

Proctor was within six points, 26-20, after it scored on the second-half kickoff, but New Hampton began to pull away when White scored on a 80-yard run. He picked up 180 yards in the second half.

New Hampton, which improved its record to 2-0, led 47-26 after three quarters.

The Huskies received two TD passes from quarterback Adam Enxing. Anthony Gaines and Carter Dillon had the TD receptions.

Dillon led the New Hampton defense with 5.5 tackles and a blocked PAT attempt. Gaines had an interception and a blocked punt, and Seamus Tully also blocked a point-after kick.

New Hampton also received 211 all-purpose yards and a late TD from Jordan Collier, who also recorded three tackles and forced a fumble.

It was the season-opener for Proctor.
