Police: NH man crashes car into parked car while using mobile electronic device

ROCHESTER — A New Durham man allegedly crashed his car into a parked car while using a mobile electronic device.
Rochester Police, Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to the area of 148 N. Main St. for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving two cars Monday at 1:29 a.m.
Officers discovered a 2007 Jeep Compass being driven by Seth Laurion, 21, of New Durham, traveled west on North Main Street when he became distracted while using a mobile electronic device, police said.
The Jeep allegedly crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a 2004 Ford Mustang owned by Alfred Holt, 50, of Rochester. The Ford was unoccupied at the time of the incident and was legally parked on the side of the road.
Both cars sustained significant front-end damage and had to be towed from the scene, and Laurion refused medical services at the scene, police said.
Officers cited Laurion for use of mobile electronic devices while driving - prohibition.
