HUDSON — One person was taken to the hospital after a wreck Sunday night after a car slammed into a rock and rolled over on Central Street.
Police say George Degraan, 43, of Nashua, was driving a 1993 Ford Mustang with Melanie Kanarian, 46, also of Nashua, and Charles Parker, 19, of Manchester, west on Central Street about 7:30 Sunday night. The three were approaching Sullivan Road when it approached a bicyclist in the breakdown lane. Police say the car drifted to the right, then swerved and went off the road and crashed head-on into a large granite boulder.
After the crash the car rolled over and the front seat passenger was thrown from the car, which ended up back on its wheels.
Police say none of the occupants of the Mustang were wearing seat belts. Degraan was issued a summons for negligent driving.
Another occupant was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Hudson police are continuing their investigation into the crash.
