New Hampshire to host Illinois State in FCS semifinal

DURHAM - The University of New Hampshire Wildcats will play host to the Illinois State University Redbirds in the semifinals of the FCS playoffs.

For the second year in a row and only the second time in teams history, the Wildcats will be playing in the FCS semifinal.

They beat the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mocs on Friday by a final score of 35-30. The ISU Redbirds went 12-1 on the season just like New Hampshire.

Last week they played Eastern Washington on the road and won 59-46. They'll take on UNH at Cowell Stadium this Saturday at 2 p.m. where the game will be televised live on ESPNU.
