New Hampshire Republicans gather for annual convention
CONCORD (AP) — Members of the New Hampshire Republican Party are gathering to elect their national committee members and update the party's bylaws.
The annual convention starts Saturday morning in Concord and brings together elected officials, party committee members and GOP activists from across New Hampshire. A last-minute challenge for the national committeewoman post could shake up the day.
Steve Duprey and Juliana Bergeron currently serve as New Hampshire members of the Republican National Committee, giving them a voice in the national party's rules, including what will happen at the GOP convention in Cleveland.
WMUR-TV reports that Sharon Osborne, an activist with the Free State Project, is challenging Bergeron.
State party conventions on both sides are drawing more attention than normal given the tumultuousness of the primary contests.
