New Hampshire getting nearly $2.3M more in heating help

CONCORD(AP) - New Hampshire is getting an additional $2.27 million for a home-heating assistance program for the 2015 fiscal year.

The funds are being administered under the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP.

Sens. Jeanne Shaheen and Kelly Ayotte announced the additional funding Wednesday. The total amount for New Hampshire is now more than $25 million.
