New Hampshire Fish & Game offers "best baby gift ever"
The Associated Press
CONCORD — Stumped by what to get that newborn baby? New Hampshire Fish and Game officials have come to the rescue.
Fish and Game officials are offering a lifetime, combined hunting and fishing license that can be purchased for those under a year old.
The cost of $300 — plus a fee of $4.50 — buys a certificate good for a lifetime of hunting and fishing licenses once the recipient turns 16.
Recipients must take a hunter education course before redeeming the hunting license.
Officials say the "Newborn Lifetime Combination Hunting and Fishing License" is a chance to provide children under one-year-old who are New Hampshire residents with perpetual access to hunting and fishing adventures.
Purchasers must provide a copy of the child's birth certificate and their driver's license to prove residency.
