New England Patriots will make their own noise in Kansas City

Now, that’s more like it. No, not the New England Patriots offensive performance, but yours truly’s weekly record. After two straight 3-4 weeks to start the season, the cream finally rose to the top with a 6-1 record. Only those under-achieving San Francisco 49ers ruined what should have been perfection. So, can the Patriots take that same step and improve dramatically? Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium is certainly a tough place to make that happen. “I’m sure there will be a real hostile environment for us there in Kansas City,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said. “We need to be able to handle that – go on the road and have good execution in a tough place to play against a good team.” Third down will be critical for the struggling Patriots offense, but Belichick says the noise factor is bad everywhere. “It might be a little louder there, probably is, but that’s all,” he said.
