New England man indicted on charges after police say he assaulted two women
FITSWILLIAM — A Massachusetts man has been indicted on several charges following the June 5 attack that injured two women.
The Keene Sentinel reports that John Dinsmore, 54 of South Boston, is behind bars after he allegedly stabbed one women and cut another woman’s throat with a knife or sharp object.
Dinsmore was identified by police and apprehended in his South Boston home on June, 12.
According to Assistant Cheshire County Attorney Keith W. Clouatre, Dinsmore is facing two counts of attempted murder as well as two alternative counts of first-degree assault.
Court documents say Dinsmore cannot be convicted of both sets of charges.
