New endowment will help NH veterans battling substance abuse

MANCHESTER - A fund has been created to help provide financial support to service members and veterans battling addiction.

The Dan & Renee Plummer Endowment Fund was launched at The Farnum Center in Manchester Friday.

The fund has a $500,000 goal, of which more than $300,000 has already been raised.

The money will be used to help veterans and men and women in uniform get help through the Easter Seals NH programs.

Next month, Farnum Center will be opening a building specifically for veterans on the Farnum Center North campus in Franklin.
