New developments as Connecticut company joins Hooksett's Lilac Park project

HOOKSETT — Plans to create a botanical garden, festival venue, and commercial development in Lilac Park have further developed since a new partner joined the project.

Supreme Industries Inc. is a Connecticut-based company that specializes in projects such as land clearing, road building and site preparation. Supreme Industries will join with project leaders from the Lilac Park project in a partnership known as Granite Woods LLC, according to the Union Leader. The company will help with restoring the land and keeping it maintained.

Jeff Larabee is the owner of the land and is a main developer in the project.

In July, the planning board approved site plans for a miniature golf course, a smoke-house style restaurant, hotels, and an outdoor concert venue. There are night phases to this project, two already in progress, the UL reports.

The park will be built off of Hackett Hill Road. A new roadway may be built in order to allow larger vehicles onto the land.
