New Apple feature may help you fall asleep by minimizing blue light

If you are one of the millions of Americans who have trouble falling asleep, a new Apple feature may help.

Monday's launch of iOS 9.3 added Night Shift to Apple’s mobile devices. It's based on studies that demonstrate how blue light can negatively impact sleep by altering the body's natural circadian rhythm.

Blue light that's the light emitted from electronic devices including cell phones, computers, tablets and televisions.

With Apple's new feature, when the sun goes down the iPad Pro screen automatically changes toward warmer, yellow colors, reducing blue light.
