New addiction recovery center hopes to open in Concord by spring

CONCORD - A new addiction recovery center is set to open up in Concord.

According to the Concord Monitor, Hope for Recovery runs a drug and alcohol treatment center in Manchester, and now they have plans to expand to the state’s capital.

They have a location picked out on South State Street, where they’ll offer services for people struggling with addictions.

The nonprofit center says they saw 131 people in their center last year in July. That number has grown substantially as they say they saw 2,300 people last month in January.

Hope for Recovery is targeting a spring opening for the new center.
