Nearly 10,000 homes without power in NH after strong winds down trees

CONCORD – Eversource and Unitil have reported power outages, mostly due to downed trees.

Most of the affected areas are from Concord to the southwest part of the state.

There are about 10,000 homes without power.

Unitil said there are 1,200 outages in Concord.

If you see a downed wire, or a tree limb on a wire, do not approach it and immediately call us at 1-800-662-7764.

Crews are working to restore the power but do not have a time estimate.
