National Geographic names NH trail one of the best in the world
LINCOLN, NH — National Geographic has named a trail in New Hampshire as one of the best in the world.
Considered by many to be one of the most iconic hikes in the East, the Franconia Ridge Loop Trail takes you through the second highest range in the White Mountains, and National Geographic thinks it is just incredible.
The trail ranked at No. 6 in National Geographic's top 20 dream hikes, according to Only in Your State.
The hike is considered a quite difficult one, though it draws in hundreds of visitors each day during the warm and sunny months.
