Nathaniel Kibby accused of threatening NH associate attorney general

KEENE – The man facing charges for allegedly kidnapping and raping a teenage girl over the course of nine months is now accused of threatening the state attorney prosecuting him.

According to the Union Leader, Nathaniel Kibby, 34, threatened Associate Attorney General Jane Young during a phone call while he was in the Carroll County House of Corrections.

Young is the lead counsel in the hundreds of charges against Kibby.

Kibby is facing charges in both Coos and Carroll counties. The state says Kibby kidnapped the 14-year-old girl on her way home from school, kept her in a metal shipping container outside and sexually assaulted her for almost a year.

Kibby was arrested in July of last year.
