Nashua woman hits box truck in Hudson after running a red light
HUDSON - A Nashua driver who ran a red light at the corner of Ferry and Library streets hit a truck shortly before noon on Friday, according to police.
Police say Irene Lapointe, 85, of Nashua was heading east on Ferry Street driving a Toyota Camry when she ran the red light and hit a GMC box truck driven by Kevin Duncklee, 54, also of Nashua, who was heading north on Library Street.
The Toyota ended up on the the town common. Duncklee was not injured, police said, but Lapointe was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital as a precaution.
