Nashua woman facing domestic violence charges after assault with knife, police say

NASHUA - A woman is facing domestic violence charges after police said she assaulted someone she knew with a knife.

Police were notified about a domestic assault that had taken place in a Nashua home at about 9:45 on Sunday night.

The victim, who was known to 31-year-old Carley Williams, reported being assaulted by her with a knife that caused non-life threatening head injuries.

Williams was arrested and charged with first- degree assault - domestic violence and first-degree assault, both class A felonies.

Williams is being held on $15,000 cash bail pending her court date on Monday.

Each class A Felony is punishable up to 15 years in prison.
