Nashua woman dies in early morning crash in Massachusetts
NASHUA - An accident on Interstate 93 in Massachusetts took the life of a Nashua woman early Friday morning, according to police.
According to the Telegraph of Nashua, Massachusetts State Police responded just south of Exit 38 in Woburn, Mass., at 5:10 a.m. to find that a 26-year-old woman from Nashua had swerved into the median, hitting a guardrail and then coming to a stop in the left travel lane.
A driver of a Ford Ecovan, operated by a Londonderry man, then hit her car, an Audi. The man was uninjured, but the woman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the names of those involved, pending notification of the victim's family. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
