Nashua woman charged with assaulting 7-week-old child

NASHUA - A woman from Nashua is charged with assaulting a 7-week-old boy.

Police arrested Ashley Smith, 20, of 79 Almont St., around 11 p.m. Friday.

Police said the investigation began Friday when the Nashua Police Department's Special Investigations Division was told that a 7-week-old boy was hospitalized with non-accidental serious injuries.
